can't use MIC on mario & luigi : dowser's inside story

Hi developers

my phone is xperia play and i checked this problem on both GB and ICS rom ,

the drastic ( latest version ) has problem with mic !! , i had to use the mic to blowing bowser ... , but it never woks

how can i fix this problem , i love that game too much

There's a button now that'll fake blowing into the microphone. You can try pressing it and see if it works - you probably have to first disable the real microphone in the menu.

On a side note, I've noticed that the button registers as a screen touch as well, which can be disruptive (for example in zelda, it makes link move at the same time which can be annoying)

what do you mean ?? there is a mic icon upon the menu button , but that is always disable on my phone !! there is RED-CROSS icon on my mic buttun ,it doesn't change to enable every time i touch it !!!!

well, check first in the configure options menu if mic is enabled (box is checked). if disabled, i guess clicking the mic icon will not change.

it's just a bit weirdly designed, the red cross just means that the sound isn't being produced at the moment; you need to hold your finger on the button for as long as you need the "blow" noise produced.

It should work with and without the device microphone enabled; it's just a bit of a weird button, it confused me at first too.

not working

i've pressed and hold the mic icon ==> then blow on the mic = not working !!!

how can i use that ?! i also tried to press and hold the mic icon and blow on the 2nd mic on my phone , but still the same
