Re-size options won't save.

Anytime I try to resize the screen/controls or anything else that can be resized nothing saves global or specific (I am pressing apply), I've also tried clearing the cache and yes I have paid for the app, all the default options work fine, I just want to adjust it a bit so it's more comfortable.

Make sure you are editing the right screen layout. For example changes in the Landscape x:1 layout will not be visible in Portait 1:1. The default layout when a game is first booted is Portait 1:1 and you can change it with Select Screen Layout
