Problem with left d pad and 'A' buttons

I am playing pokemon heartgold and started to face this problem today. I have to hold down the 'A' button and the left button of the d pad for them to work.
I cannot figure out about what I should do about this.
Please help me out.

Does this happen on other apps? This may be a touchscreen problem

Nope. It does not happen with any other app.

Did you start having this issue as soon as starting to play Pokemon Hearthgold or some days passed?
When did you installed Drastic and what version you are using?
