Have been looking around and couldn't find a similar problem. I am currently running Version 2.1.6.2a on DraStic on a Rooted Kindle Fire HD. I haven't had any problems up until this point. Emulator works great. Mapping the controls on the WiiMote was awesome. But just a couple days ago, I can no longer map keys, it doesnt recognize the strokes

The version you are mentioning is ancient. Have you paid for the emulator?
