Looking for Pokemon Test Team

As everyone knows, people care about Pokemon overwhelmingly more than anything else and the emulator has various issues with Pokemon games so it's a very high priority to try to address this. For this reason we would benefit tremendously from a group of testers who just focuses on Pokemon. Preferably people who really thoroughly know and really thoroughly love the games and are willing to play the crap out of them. Testing would happen on IRC (probably in a new channel), you can respond with interest in this thread, although I don't think we'll be able to give out test versions just yet since Lordus is away until next weekend.

Here's a list of various known issues with Pokemon games (others tell me if they find more):

- Black seams pop up between polygons, render issue, probably not something I need testers to help with
- Heart Gold, Soul Silver, and Platinum will occasionally glitch out the sprites and crash. This is a timing emulation issue, some kind of race condition in a badly coded game (and it happens on other emulators although maybe not as frequently). We've reduced the problem with a timing hack in HG/SS - I had a tester (urisma) play through the whole game and he said he only got the problem once, but it seems to show up for others a lot more than that. So we need to see if we can do a better fix for it.
- Other graphical glitches in HG/SS that are confirmed to not be timing related
- White/Black 1&2 both have issues with saving with non-patched games. We need to get the emulator working properly with pure ROMs, and this means we need to figure out what this affects exactly and how to fix it.
- C-Gear crashes in Black/White 2.. need a confirmation this still actually happens because I haven't been hearing about it very much anymore
- Cheats that don't work.

I can help once again, I have Platinum/Soul Silver/Black 2. I can probably find a link to the modified roms so you can compare them to a stock rom.
