Starforce 3 Red Joker hard mode freeze

I wanted to try the hard mode cheat so I turned it on, next virus battle I encountered, the game froze on a white screen, I restarted DraStic and the screen was still frozen, I tried the 'restart game' option, to no avail. So I thought uninstalling and reinstalling the ROM would work. However after I did so, and started up the ROM, it still boots up to the frozen screen. If anyone knows what else may help, please let me know.

Try disabling the cheat in settings, then relaunch Drastic and load up the ROM. Not all cheats work smoothly.

And try clearing all apps in the background before you launch Drastic please.
