Desume(PC) to Drastic save file transfer help please.

I'm new to this and tried a quick search but didn't see anything. I have Desume on PC playing Pokemon SoulSilver. I have a .dsv file and a .sav file. I transferred both files to Drastic folder on my Nexus 6 called "savestates". When I load up Drastic the game loads fine but I can't select my save file at all. The option to select my save state is greyed out. I apologize if this was answered, would greatly appreciate the help. Thank you.

You can not transfer savestates between emulators.... most of the time you can't even transfer them between the same emulator on a different platform. You can transfer the fike you mad and that is a backup save (the one made in game).

.dsv is a backup file for drastic and as long as you put it in the backup folder and make sure it is names the EXACT SAME as your DS rom is named with the only difference being the extension (ie .dsv/.nds). Then you should be able to continue the game from the in game save.
