Problem loading Harvest Moon Sunshine Islands.

I've been playing Harvest Moon Sunshine Islands for quite some time now. I've gotten really far in the game, but now all of a sudden the game won't load up. All of my other games I don't have a problem with just that one. I chose the game then I press load last save and it brings me to the loading screen then it just freezes. Has anyone else had this type of problem with other games or knows how to fix it??

might be a bad save file. tried loading an ingame save?
