Export saves to diffrent savetypes?

Post by Omenchild » Wed Oct 08, 2014 9:41 pm

Hello!

I know this might be a little tiresome question so I apologize in advance!
I bought DraStic a couple of days and I must say I was shocked over the quality and care it received :). It worked flawlessly on my devices. So I have to thank the DraStic team for this polished diamond! :D

So back to the question. I've recently got more available time for my computer so I started to play more with my old DS games on my gpad (nothing beats them buttons :P). And it worked like a charm to just drag over the saves with Google Drive to DraStic.
But as you guys probably understand by now, my problem occurred after I tried to use the saves from DraStic to DeSmume.
I dunno how many hours I've spent trying to find a way for the damn Desmume to recognize the bloody save. I've tried so many things but all in vain :/. But I noticed some things that made me curious that might or at least give me some hope.
Did DraStic use a type of .Sav in the earlier versions? If that's the case why starting use .Dsv? I thought only DeSmume used it, or am I wrong? Is there a way to export or convert DraStic's .Dsv to something that Desmume can run?

Best Regards: Omen

Okay, one question at a time...

Drastic has always used. Dsv and its prolly hapenstance that desmume uses the same thing.
For compatibility, iirc, using desmume 0.9.8 you can play drastic in game saves.

Haha Hilarious how I just saw that answer on another forum a second ago and indeed it works :D. It's really embarrassing that the answer were so simple when I tried to get it to work for so many hours :P. Anyway thank you so much! :)
