How do you drift on Mario Kart using Drastic for Android???

The virtual d-pad doesn't seem to let you press two buttons at the same time (at least when playing on a standard cell phone), so drifting would be impossible. Is there a solution for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated =)

buy an android with multitouch, or buy a bluetooth controller.
