Galaxy Ace 2

I have Galaxy ace 2, NovaThor u8500 dualcore Cortex-A9 chipset and it bugs me why I can't play games smoothly like New Super Mario or Mario Kart DS when single core devices can play it without trouble like Xperia Play. Is it because my device is clocked at 800 mhz or what?

maybe you need to configure the emulator and tray use seeder it may help

i think galaxy ace 2 can handle to emulator like xperia play

Tried seeder and it doesn't make much of a difference. I mean it is a dualcore phone, and it should be faster than xperia play and the only thing that comes to my mind is that xperia play has faster processor altough it's single core.

did you tray multi threaded ?

I've tried multithread, play with frameskip, sound latency and games are best with auto frameskip set on -4, sound latency high, multithreaded and no filter. But all 3d games don't run smoothly even Pokemon Diamond is glitchy sometimes. When I play without frame skip gameplay seems a smoother but than sound is very very choppy that it's unplayable.

I'm playing pokemon blaze black 2 at full speed on my galaxy ace 2. I crash on Heart gold, the sprites corrupt sometimes so it crashes once i go to a new area/battle so i cant advance in it.

Which rom are you using? And does checking multithread gave you any performance boost?

I want to play New Super
Mario Bros, Lord of The Rings Aragorn's Quest,
Fifa Street 3, GTA Chinatown Wars, Naruto
games, Ni No Kuni. Does this games works full
speed on Galaxy Ace 2? But I do not want to do overlocking.

You can't overclock even if you want to. I've installed cm10 now and there is definetly improvement in speed. So only hope to run this emulator with average speed is to install cm10.

multithread can cause some glitshs
