Patched Pokemon not working...
I have an encrypted Pokemon game that I would like to play on here. I have the ARM7 and ARM9 bios' in both the zipped BIOS folder and the SYSTEM folder and when I try to boot the game it goes through the load screen, and then it goes to the white screen that you see right before the game runs. But then it just stays on the white screen! The system flashes back and forth between saying that the emulator is running at 100% and 99% like it should, but the game won't boot past that. All other games seem to run fine, but this one won't. Can anyone help? (BTW if it matters at all, I'm not sure that it does, I am using a rooted Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 with the AOKP rom).

are you sure you named yur arm bios correctly? you also need the nds firmware if you are using encrypted roms. also, whats the patch you used in your pokemon?TheMaximumD wrote:I have an encrypted Pokemon game that I would like to play on here. Why did you put BIOSes anywhere? Are you using a version that told you to?

I'm pretty sure I named them correctly, nds_arm_7.bios or something like that. Before I named them, if I tried to select the game to boot, it wouldn't even load, it would just throw out a little gui saying "This is an encrypted rom, you need the ARM7 BIOS dumped from your DS" or something like that. I inferred through looking at the file folders in the "DraStic" folder in my file explorer that I should put the files in my SYSTEM and BIOS folders, and I did, and the game booted, but I got only a white screen. As to the patch, I don't know, but if it helps I used the files in the "applesauce.rar" downloadable file, if you know what that is.

It has to be nds_bios_arm7.bin, but if it loaded okay that's probably not the problem. It's possible that the patch increased the size of the game ROM without modifying the header value, in which case checking the option "ignore gamecard limit" would help. Worth trying anyway.

I think I may be running an older version of the app, so I will go update and see if that helps...Exophase wrote:It has to be nds_bios_arm7.bin, but if it loaded okay that's probably not the problem. Yeah that didnt work. I dont know what the problem is... I enabled that option you said and it still didnt work. I have the firmware in the folders and everything but it still won't work. So frustrating!TheMaximumD wrote:I think I may be running an older version of the app, so I will go update and see if that helps...Exophase wrote:It has to be nds_bios_arm7.bin, but if it loaded okay that's probably not the problem. are you using the official version fromplaystore? pirated copies tend to crack and break stuff on the app.TheMaximumD wrote:Yeah that didnt work. I dont know what the problem is...
