Hi,
I'm fairly new here but I have tried to search around for this problem through the FAQs and Forums to no avail and THUS !
I need help.
I'm currently playing Pokemon White 2 and had previously ran the SHINY Pokemon marking cheat on Black 2.
The current game (W2) has never had this cheat activated however I have had the encounter SHINY WILD Pokemon cheat activated (on Select) when assembling my team.
The problem now is that when I mark my Pokemons in the PC for the change of Nature and the maxing of Happiness along with the other STATS, the pokemon sprite changed into its shiny form as well.
Can this be reversed ?
P.S. I have tried soft-resetting (L+R+SELECT+START), I have tried switching of the Enabling of cheats before the game started & RESTARTED the game but all have been to no avail. Can anyone help me on this ?
TO ADD: The SHINY Pokemon marking cheat has previously been activated in B2 and I've noticed that it is non-reversible
Pokemon White 2/Black 2 Marking Cheat [Irreversible?]
Re: Pokemon White 2/Black 2 Marking Cheat [Irreversible?]
I did & tried this:Exophase wrote:Read the FAQ.
Q: Why do cheats still happen after I've disabled them? Is this a bug?
A: Cheats work by modifying the game as it's running. If you a disable a cheat it'll stop being executed, but for many cheats whatever it did to modify the game will already be in effect. It's impossible for the emulator to reverse this, such a thing goes against the basics of how the cheats work (note that the cheats come from Action Replay codes, not something we invented). The best thing to do is to make a save in-game and reset with the cheats disabled, that should remove the cheat so long as it didn't affect something that's part of a save. Doing this with a savestate won't work, it has to be an in-game save.
I did this but it didn't work and thats why I tried to seek for help.

seeing as the pokemon in question is already made into shiny ones, no it cannot be reversed.Gabeauuu wrote:I did & tried this:Exophase wrote:Read the FAQ.
