Final Fantasy IV Crash Issues

I seem to be having the same issue a few users have experienced in the past where the game begins crashing during battles after a certain point in the story. I researched the topic and found a few posts in here, but most of them didn't seem to have a concrete resolution. I have tried messing around with in-game save states as well as app save states. I also toyed around with 16 bit rendering and frameskip rates, as well as turning of the cheats option (even though I never used them). The game still crashes at random points in battles and boots me back to the menue, though never when I'm just traveling. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I can also provide phone specs and/or save states as needed. Thanks!

There was a bug with textures that caused crashes in FF4. Can you try getting the latest beta?
