I updated today my tablet's firmware to android 4.4.2 and there is an issue with the sound. Not that huge, although annoying. The volume of the emulator lowers and increases by itself, depending on various things. I noticed it mostly while playing Pokemon, in the Pokedex in B2. Lower sounds such as the cry of Deino sounds low, but the cry of Hydreigon sounds higher. This problem occurs with other games, specifically when entering a place or exiting. Unless I have the tablet's volume at 80% (wich is very high) it (the emukator) will still persist to change the volume of the game. I tried fiddling with the latencies, but with no change.
EDIT: The problem seems to be fixed if I use headphones. But still persistrs if I remove them.
Sound Volume Issue
Re: Sound Volume Issue
What device is it? The emulator doesn't change the volume, it seems more likely that your device is trying to auto-normalize or something like that. Does it happen in any other apps?
Re: Sound Volume Issue
No, not at all. It's 100% an emulator issue. Everything else works normally. As I said, the problem is fixed when I plug in my headphones. And it's a tablet.Exophase wrote:What device is it? Re: Sound Volume Issue
What is the actual device? I want to see if anyone has reported any similar problems for it.

It's a Lenovo Tab A7-40.Exophase wrote:What is the actual device? I want to see if anyone has reported any similar problems for it.

Re: Sound Volume Issue
IDK, but a logcat dump would probably help. Can you do that on your tablet?
Re: Sound Volume Issue
I have no idea what that is, but I could try to do it.huckleberrypie wrote:IDK, but a logcat dump would probably help. Can you do that on your tablet?
Also, Imnoticed this volume thing happening outside the emulator. So, for now I will have to use thr headphones.
Re: Sound Volume Issue
Are you using a custom ROM? If so you should report the issue to whoever makes it. If not you should report it to the vendor.gigel400 wrote:Also, Imnoticed this volume thing happening outside the emulator. So, for now I will have to use thr headphones.
