2.1.1a
2.1.1a
After updating and removing firmware and bios, I have noticed a slight speed boost in some games. Example:Mario Party ran at about 80% on board, now about 90%. Maybe it's just my phone, but I feel like not having to load the bios or something speeds it up a bit. Anyome else get speed improvements, or is it just me?

Re: 2.1.1a
How do you remove the bios after it's been installed?
Also, what sorcery was used that no longer requires these files in 2.1.1a?

Re: 2.1.1a
All the bios are stored in the android/data/com.dsemu/drastic/files/system
As for the miracle, I'm sure its the same with the miracle of biosless bleem ages ago

Re: 2.1.1a
Seeing the changelog i thought that this version would have inverted portrait/landscape modes, instead this only swap screens....
Please add inverted modes on next version, it´s very unconfortable to use with OTG usb gamepad on portrait for best screen utilization (nexus 7).

Re: 2.1.1a
Is the nexus 7 otg port on the right? You can just install an app that forces reverse landscape then use portrait mode (will be reverse portrait) so your ports are on top rather than below. That is what I do at least.

You shouldn't change the BIOS, if it already works for you, because the savestates are not compatible.Sean wrote:After updating and removing firmware and bios, I have noticed a slight speed boost in some games. Oha that would explain why the emu doesn't recognise any state from google drive after reinstall.Lordus wrote:You shouldn't change the BIOS, if it already works for you, because the savestates are not compatible.
Re: 2.1.1a
If you re-install yes. If you use the BIOS files you used before again, the old savestates will still work, of course.

Re: 2.1.1a
The funny thing is, it isn't even possible to load ingame-saves from the old bios.
So i copy the *.dsv file from version 2.1.0a (which can't be loaded now, savegame destroyed, except i copy the old bios files back) to PC, load it in desmume, resave ingame, copy back to /drastic/backup and everything works fine.

Re: 2.1.1a
I don't use savestates that much, however I just tried it and it still works. I can't find any disadvantage to not using bios, I'll keep it this way.
My ingame saves work well too.
