spyro shadow legacy

I'm playing spyro shadow legacy on my galaxy note 3 and whenever I press b twice to double jump it only registers as me having pressed it once so I can't get to a ledge I'm trying to jump to to continue the game. I'm wondering if there's a setting I could tweak or what.
