The speed all depends on the device that you have. I have 0 problems with fps on any game.

Solution: buy a better phone/tablet.

crazy... im using galaxy s4 and galaxy tab 2 and same... fps dropping during battle especially when there is weather effect like sandstorm... and dont ever say any game is working fast on you because you havent tried it all... in harry potter series its too slow... also in some dragon monsters series especially the 9.. dont act like you have tried all game.. and saying its all working fine on you...

Make sure there aren't too many background apps running. You should check to see in your application manager under ram to see how much memory is available. I know the S4 is a superb phone but the better in specs the phone gets, the more bloatware samsung pre-runs on your phone. Are you running the latest version of drastic as well?

yup.. i have the latest version. i dont have too much apps installed. im also using a task killer.. this issue both appear on my phone and tablet.. with filter off or linear scale2x... check or uncheck multi threaded 3d rendering.. all my nds game is not compress..
in pokemon black.. when walking the game just run fine im getting 70fps + but then when battling fps can drop up to 38fps..

Is your game patched or unpatched? Do you have any cheats enabled?

It is possible you are experiencing slowdown on s4 coz the phone uses the cortex a7 core instead of the more powerful cortex a15 when running drastic.

im using the unpatch one.. usa version... anyway... i just notice.. from updating r2.1.5a to r2.1.5.1a pokemon pearl got a violet status bar during battle.. black and violet color...
