why dont zipped roms run on chromebook

Im using drastic on chromebook and when I download type 7Z roms drastic has no problem playing them, however when I download zipped roms drastic attempts to load but fails in playing the game. What should I do its very hard to find roms that arent zipped especially for some of my favorites.

Try unzipping them to .nds files if you can, Drastic can load those too, there should be apps you can get for the chromebook that can for that.

I have been trying this for a while but with no success chromebook made unzipping files convenient . I just wish I can record myself trying with unzipped nds files because this is an odd situation.
