android 11 storage issue
android 11 storage issue
It seems drastic doesnt read properly files when installed on android r, it only shows me "/storage" path without any files listed. Yup, I paid for the app for such a long time so this isnt some form of piracy protection kicking in. Hope to resolve soon!
Re: android 11 storage issue

Re: android 11 storage issue
You could blame it on Google insisting on "scoped storage" in the name of security.

Re: android 11 storage issue
If you uninstall/reinstall the app (and let it search for your ROMs), it should drop you in /storage/emulated/0 by default. This isn't an Android 11 specific issue, it's been like this for at least a few versions now (7 or 8 maybe?).crowpatch wrote: Fri Nov 13, 2020 12:01 pm It seems drastic doesnt read properly files when installed on android r, it only shows me "/storage" path without any files listed. Re: android 11 storage issue
I'm having this same problem with a new Pixel 4a. Uninstalling and reinstalling didn't work. Anyone else have suggestions?
Re: android 11 storage issue
I have the same issue that only "/storage" is shown. I have a Samsung S21 ultra, newest software (smartphone and DraStic app). DraStic has all permission wich are required (files and mic).
Has someone a solution for that? I mean it can't be such a big thing to tell the app were the apk's are or am I wrong?
I already tried to open the apk with the DraStic app but the DraStic app is not shown as an program to open the apk.

Yeah, I don't see this being fixed anytime soon. This thread started last November or so, and it's been six months roughly speaking, I'm pretty sure the devs of Drastic don't have enough Android 11 users to care or justify fixing it.

Re: android 11 storage issue
Heey, I had the same problem but I found a solution on the internet. It worked for me so I thought I should post it here too.
Someone on Reddit discovered that the app permenantly starts working again of you move one game to the main storage (the place where all the maps are shown of everything (data, documents, downloads, etc.)). Once one game is stored there, you open drastic to open a game and it will suddenly find all the files (and not just the one game). After that you can just move that one game back tot where it was originally stored. Drastic will now be able to find your games as normaal.
I hope this works for everyone
