Pokémon Pal Park and Slot 2 issues

I'm trying to acess the Pal Park in Pokémon Platinum. Already inserted my Emerald Rom and save on the slot2 folder, but the option to link doesn't appear in the game. I've also tried renaming the files to Pokemon Platinum.gba/.sav and slot2.gba/.sav, but still nothing appears. Is that a bug with the slot2 emulation or I'm doing something wrong?

I think you are not suppossed to select an option on the menu. I think you should go to the Pal Park and there you should be given the option to link with your GBA game.

Are you sure you did unlock it?
You need to unlock it first (usually after you beat the elite 4)

Not really, I didn't have any problem with Cynthia in Pkmn Black
