Trading Pokémon

Where there ever be a wifi/multi-player emulation for the ds? I see how it says "NOTE: WiFi/multiplayer emulation is not supported at this time.", but is this there to basically tell us that there will never be support for this? I just want to be able to battle and trade pokemon with my friends locally on pokemon platinum. Thanks for a reply.

nope, no wifi support for the forseeable future. also read the darn faqs!
