The issue has actually gotten much worse
But the games I am attempting to play are Pokemon Platinum Version and Pokemon Soul Silver Version

care to elaborate what you meant by worse?

Well, before I was able to go into the menu while playing the game. Now I am unable to even start the game.
I can start up drastic, load game, tap the game and it instantly crashes. If I try to press drastic again it freezes my phone and restarts my phone completely. On the occasion when a game starts the menus freeze or glitch intensely. I'm also wondering how I would be able to send a crash report since I can't enter the options menu.

You don't need the options to send a crash report.
If it crashes and you get a system popup saying 'Unfortunately DraStic has stopped', it should have a 'Report' button, and if you press that any follow the steps, we'll be able to see the crash report.

Are you loading the games from an external SD-card? If you are, can you try to load one from the internal memory, to see if it makes a difference?
It's possible that the SD-card has issues (if you're loading from one).

My phone doesn't support an SD slot, its a droid maxx 2.
I will try to uninstall, reinstall and send a crash report. Thanks again guys

I know this probably will not solve your problems but if you have the maxx 2 then you do have a micro SD slot, it's on the back side of the sim card tray and will require the removal tool to access. The maxx 2 supports up to 128GB. If you have the original Droid maxx then it does not have micro SD support.
