CONNECT TO SELF (Connect Remotely) Capacity

I bought the app using my gmail account (devs-you can check it its the one I used in my profile)


All in all I am completely satisfied about the purchase and it was worth every cent!


But the only thing that is quite disappointing is the lack of connect to self feature where it would emulate connection but it will open another NDS screen - this is so that you can use this in Pokemon to TRADE with yourself.

There is this feature in MyBoy- the top emu for GBA - Drastic is the top Emu for GBA for android so I dont understand this.


All in all I love Drastic and I understand that wifi or multiplayer is not supported as of now, BUT PLEASE it's not like Remote connect is "multiplayer" is it? It's just connecting to your own just to get the benefits of it.

Emulating two DSes and the wireless connection between them wouldn't have all of the timing challenges that emulating wireless over a real network would have, but it'd still involve emulating the same wireless hardware that's not that well understood at the moment. If we ever do get anywhere with emulating "NiFi" I'm sure we will include this option, but it's hard to really say if (and when) such a thing will really happen.

Unfortunately the hardware that performs the wireless communication is very complex and esoteric compared to GBA's wired serial connection, so it's a lot more challenging to implement.

for now what would be your recommendations for evolving Pokemon that only evolve when traded? Or is there a cheat for that (evolving gengar) sorry if its off topic and non-technical but I hope someone here can share

I only know about pokemon white 1 cheats (only pokemon ds game I picked up), but this might be similar in the other games.

Use one of the catch (x) pokemon anywhere and catch the evolution you wanted from evolving.

optional:
Use the have all hm/tm item codes if you game has it and you want to carry over a skill from a previous form that you can not get on the evolution.

Use the teach any hm/tm code if you need it to be able to teach the evolution a specific skill it would have had.

End optional:

Turn off all codes and release your pokemon you didn't evolve (because you couldn't) into the wild. And treat your new friend with all the love and affection you had for your old one.
