Crash at Phoenix Wright: Justice for All

Post by Mason » Mon Jan 25, 2016 5:36 pm

Hello mates. Fist of all, forgive me as english is not my main language.

I have been getting a crash in Phoenix Wright: Justice for All, in wich as soon as the save game screen appears (in this case, the very first save game screen) the game closes and returns to the emulators main screen.

By reading some posts there, I came to know that this behaviour is often caused by using a cracked version. I don't know how I can prove that I bought the emulator, but I even left a five star rating there, so I'm sure I have the latest version (r2.4.0.1a build 81) from a safe source. Let me know if there's any way that I can prove that I bought.

Details:
Device: Moto Maxx
Android: 5.0.2 stock
I got the rom from a trusted source, it is not compressed, and 'Do not keep activities' is disabled.

Thank you for any help.

Do you have cheats enabled? If so try disabling them, and make sure to start over from an in-game save. If you can reproduce the problem from an in-game save without cheats you could upload the save file here, then we can see if we can reproduce it too and find a fix.

Thank you for the quick response.

Yes, I had cheats enabled.

The only problem is that it takes a lot of time to reach the first save "point" in the game, nevertheless I'll restart the game without cheats to see if the crash prevails.

I'll come back with the results. Thanks!

I think I found another issue.

When ingame, you can press Start to enter a save screen in wich you save the game and suspend play. When I try to do this (with the cheats turned off and the emulator fully restarted) It seems to save right but when returning to the game It doesn't have any savegame to return.

Hello! By "trusted source" I meant that I got the ROM from ****, and by "safe source" I meant Google Play.

Edit: Sorry, can't disclose the ROM source there.
