Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword Lag.
Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword Lag.
Using an Archos Gamepad 2 with the latest drastic and it runs most games perfectly, pretty sweet emulator guys good job, but the game Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword lags a lot when you are fighting the first boss and the dragon starts breathing fire everything slows down making the fight unplayable, is there any way to fix that issue? Or maybe a fix in future updates?

Your gamepad's specs are insufficient at only 1.6GHz and a 2045mb RAM. Since Ninja Gaiden uses a lot of cpu, you need better specs.
No. No no no no no no.

For certain effects that is. Like say, FIRE.JeaneMaggie wrote:Your gamepad's specs are insufficient at only 1.6GHz and a 2045mb RAM. Since Ninja Gaiden uses a lot of cpu, you need better specs.

I tested up to the first boss and it does drop the fps % from 100-105 down to 30-40 durring the buildup and usage of that one attack. A 70% drop for one action might be something that Exo may want to look at.talos91 wrote:Using an Archos Gamepad 2 with the latest drastic and it runs most games perfectly, pretty sweet emulator guys good job, but the game Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword lags a lot when you are fighting the first boss and the dragon starts breathing fire everything slows down making the fight unplayable, is there any way to fix that issue? If you are not running high rez drastic tends not to push 1.6GHz very often and 2045MB of RAM should never be fully used unless your multi tasking while playing drastic. I would be surprised even when loading a 512MB if drastic even touched 1024MB of RAM.JeaneMaggie wrote:Your gamepad's specs are insufficient at only 1.6GHz and a 2045mb RAM. Re: Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword Lag.
A sudden dramatic decrease in performance is most likely due to the game thrashing the translation cache. Such a thing may or may not be something that can be fixed or worked around in a straightforward fashion. I'll try to look at this issue over the weekend.
Re: Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword Lag.
Thanks for the help, hope you find a solution.
Re: Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword Lag.
It'll probably be fixed in the next beta, although it'll need more testing.
