I knew the risks with cheats, but could anyone help..?

Hello! Getting right to it- I was playing Pokemon Platinum & slowly started using more & more cheats. I got to the cheat for choosing what wild pokemon you encounter when my game froze. I can use the drastic menu, but everything in-game is frozen.
I knew the risks of the cheats & I don't mean to complain. But does anyone have any suggestions to unfreeze before I restart the game from the beginning?

Just try disabling all the cheats and reseting the game by DraStic's reset option or by soft resetting.

The game might notify you that your last save point is corrupt and it will try to resume the save before the last time you saved in the game. If you're really unlucky, you'll have to delete the dsv file.

Did you have any save states? They may be useful. I also recommend that if autosave is enabled to every suspend, disable it. The reason for that is obvious.

If this does not work, let this be a lesson to you to back up your save and use manual save states.

actually, if he has a regular save (not a state) and disabling cheats, it should work just fine. if for some reason he can make a save on his state, much better.
