Soulsilver cheat problems

So I'm playing Drayano's soulsilver hack (Storm Silver) and I'm having problems entering the master code (keep in mind that there are no cheats in the cheat database since it's a hacked ROM). I've entered multiple master codes from different regions and it always comes back saying the format is not accepted. Does anyone have a fix, or am I doing something wrong?

Could you post the code? We might see what could be going wrong, or give a manually created cheat file to use instead.

Also, master codes may not be needed to begin with, have you tried doing it without it?

The code is IPGE-2D5118CA

Other codes from what I can tell don't work. The only other code I'm using is a nature modifier code which requires you to put the pokemon in box 1, slot 1 of the PC, then press L. I have a similar code in blaze black 2 (a hack by the same creator and has the same changes as storm silver) and it, and the master code, work fine.

I'm not sure what the format of the code is supposed to mean, but the first part is not hex/part of a valid PAR code. So I'm not sure what it's supposed to mean. A single code line is going to be 64-bits, or 16 hex digits. Do you have the source where you got the code? It might give some more clues.

I found the code in an IGN article. I've also seen the code on other sites and forums like Supercheats and Reign of Computer

That code appears to be just the Game ID and a checksum or something. It's not an actual code and it just tells the AR some game info.

Is it actually for Storm Silver specifically, or just Soul Silver? If it's not for the ROM hack it might not work for it to begin with, since the hack may move around the memory location that the cheat is targeting.

It's for Soul Silver, but again, other cheats like the nature modifier are being accepted, they just don't work (which I assune is because of the lack of a master code). I'm probably wrong though. You seem much more educated on the topic then I am if I have to find hacks for the ROM hack, do you know where I could find them?
