Is there a file contaning in-game saves (not savestates)?

Ok, so basically I was starting a new game of pokemon black and spent like an hour trying to get a starter with decent IV, only to find out that unlike in the previous games you can't save if you haven't already deleted the previous game's save, which can only be done in the title screen. On other emulators I've tried in the past usually in-game saves and savestates where stored on two different files. I was wondering if DraStic did the same, so that I could just manually delete it, thus allowing the game to make a new save.

I really hope I don't have to repeat the beginnign of pokemon black for another hour.
