Moving files to sd card

I want to move my drastic and game files to the sd card from the internal storage,but the last time i did it,it erased all my game data,now i reinstalled and finished some games,but how do i move them to the sd card without erasing their data?

You can move any rom to the external storage, but the drastic folder only works where it is at since there is no way to redirect the path. To be fair the data should not be deleted you should be able to copy it right back and it should work just fine.

I move the entire thing,the drastic app as well as the roms themselves into the sd card,and my data got erased.

The app itself can't be moved to the SD card, but it also doesn't need much space.
The app's data folder 'DraStic' can be moved from the internal memory to the root of an external SD card, though.
That will only work, if you're running an Android version below Kitkat, or with a rooted device, if the Android version is >= Kitkat. Depending on the vendor, it can also work with some Kitkat devices that are not rooted.
This folder or its content will never be deleted by the app.
Access to the external SD card has been severely restricted since Kitkat, so an app can not just write to it anymore, except if it's writing to its private files directory.

So, if you're using Android >= Kitkat and your device is not rooted, there is still a more complicated way, if you really want the saves and everything to be stored on the external SD.
You could create the following folder (and any folder in the path that don't exist):
/extSdCard/Android/data/com.dsemu.drastic/files

Then create a new user in DraStic, and select that folder as the user directory.
If you uninstall the app, though, this directory will be deleted!

The ROMs can always be kept on the external SD card, they're not written to, so there's no problem.

so instead moving the entire drastic app,which doesnt take much space at all,its better to just move the game files.

I might be a bad example since I usually only keep the backup save (the in game save) and 1-3 savestates in case something goes wrong with the in game save. Though I do have a lot of shaders now, including a dozen or so I was testing but won't ecer use due to performance loss or just not liking visually, but I am too lazy to sort out and delete. With all of this and other miscellaneous files (skins and a gba rom or 2 for the slot 2 bonuses), my drastic folder still takes up less then one of the larger uncompressed DS game roms I keep on my SD card. I would find it hard to see a drastic folder really get past 200MB max, and that is a big stretch with out having DS roms in it.

Wait,i just realised,i only savey games,eg.pokemon by goig to the menu to save in the game,not by using drastic,could that be a reason?
