Need help with New Game Select

Post by SedahDarkly » Mon Jul 06, 2015 5:39 am

Alright, when you press the new game button, is shows you the organized file of your device and other stuff on it, I have two games for Drastic one works clicking in the unzip_cashe file in the drastic file in the legacy storage area. Now the other doesn't show up at all, I'm not sure what is wrong, I just got Drastic today and decide to come here, I will not openly talk about if the release group for the game matters but if it does can you pm me what I need to do. But if its my mistake for where I put the game upon getting it. Please I'd like to know where it should be for me to be able to click on it when I press New Game on the menu screen that appears when you open up the Drastic app.

unzip_cache is where a zipped (.zip) NDS rom is stored and loaded. back up all the way to the root of your phone memory then go to "mnt" and then "sdcard0" or "legacy" or "emulated". It will now show your internal phone files. Try the "Download" folder. If you use a different browser like UC Browser try to find the download folder for that

Best practice is to make a seprate folder for your roms to go in. For example my external microsd card roms are in

/storage/extSdCard/Emulator/DRASTIC ROMS

This makes it far easier for me to find my rom folder in drastic or any other emulator I am running, lets me see at a glance in my in my file manager how much space my roms are taking up (individually, based on system, or as a whole), amd keeps me from accidentally deleting a rom I wanted to keep on hand.

the external MicroSD card in my phone is dedicated to NDS roms so I can just chuck them onto that lol
