Pokemon Input Problems

Post by sainelwick » Thu Jun 11, 2015 10:04 pm

I recently changed my phone from a Galaxy HD S2 to a Samsung Grandmax. After this change I've been having input problems on all the roms I've tried so far (only Pokemon games at this point).

I can move my character and normally I could hold the directional button to keep moving but sometimes my input fails and the character stops and I can't start moving for about half of a second. Is this a phone issue or a emulator issue? I've looked around and played with some settings but I can't find any answers.

Odds are if you are using the same roms that were on your old phone the roms are not the issue.

As far as figuring out what is the issue try downloading any of the multi touch testers from the google play store, there are a lot of free ones so feel free to use a couple if you want. This will help to see if it is an issue with your screen. You could also use a different app or emulator to test the same thing.

If your screen is not the issue then maybe it is some weird reaction between the 64bit snapdragon 410 in your phone and DraStic's code, but I would think there would more people with an issue then. (Like the issue with intel atom processors caused more then 1 report)
