How to disable MOGA mappings?

Post by Varmint » Sun Feb 22, 2015 1:59 pm

I have an LG G Vista with Android 4.4.2 and an iPega 9023. The MOGA button mappings are overriding my chosen controls and I've gotten certain buttons working before but they have a problem with autofire. (Press Dpad once and it thinks you are holding it down.)

This autofire only seems to be an issue with Drastic, the gamepad works fine in SNES9x.

You will need the app *gamekeyboard+* (either legit or otherwise). Obtain it, install it. Then when connecting ipega to phone hold home+x to put it into gamepad mode (4.2+ wont recognise it as a controller for now)

Go into gamekeyboard+ and follow all the instructions it says to enable it. Then go to the first option and pick 'native gamepad/input' then go into the second dropdown menu and click on 'emulate joypad'. After this u can exit the app, uninstall it - whatever. It will retain this info. Now any HID gamepad u connect will have full analog support and will be seen by android as a native controller
I followed this suggestion but gamekeyboard+ tells me it requires root access and seems to have no effect!

Yes I would like an answer to this as well. This bug has made it impossible for me to use my ipega controller because the L and R mappings for moga are by default to swap screens and fast-forward. One would think it would be very easy to add a feature so we could just turn of this "native moga support", or at least change the Moga button mapping.
