Can I have both screens on separate devices?

Post by Steve » Fri Mar 06, 2015 4:57 pm

Hi. I own an nvidia shield portable (and a micro hdmi cable), a Samsung smart TV, and a galaxy note 3. Can this app put one screen (say the bottom screen) on my shield and the other (top screen) on my TV? Does the app support this and if so how do I do it? Thanks in advance

Connect the Shield or Note 3 with the HDMI cable and change the 'External Display Mode' in the video options to anything but 'Clone'.
With the option below you can select which screen should be shown on the TV.

Thanks

Edit: nothing shows up on my TV. It's just a black screen. Should this be done in console of mirror mode on my shield?

Assuming the portable is similar to the Tablet, I'd say mirror mode given that the screen of the Tablet turns off in console mode.
