Drastic - Desmume and Back Again.

Post by Kristine-N » Tue Jan 06, 2015 5:17 pm

Is it possible? I tried using http://www.shunyweb.info/convert.php from this thread http://www.drastic-ds.com/viewtopic.php ... vert#p8489. However, Desmume classifies the save as corrupted and deletes it. Any way around it? Thank you.

Are we talking savestates or save games? The former won't be compatible at all. The latter can be converted.

Also, which version of DeSmuME? Prior to 0.9.10 it loaded DraStic's save game files, but it doesn't in 0.9.10. But in my experience it just ignores them, it doesn't give a corruption error or deletes them. And the reason it doesn't work is because the DeSmuME footer isn't present. The next beta/version will have this footer in save game files, though.

Thank you to the both of you. I meant .dsv files but using .9.9 of desmume allowed me to just copy and paste them. Thanks again.
