App crashes upon opening (Android 4.4.2)

I am using an AT&T Samsung Galaxy SGH-I747 running Android 4.4.2.

As soon as I tap the icon, the menu briefly pops up and says 'Loading' and then I get the error 'Unfortunately, DraStic has stopped.'

Here is what 'Report' says about the crash:

I have re-installed the app multiple times and even factory reset the phone to no avail. I now turn to you, the forum, for help.

Followed the instructions but the Play store shows no update. Is there a beta .apk I could use?

If you joined the group and opted in for the beta, then you just need to re-install the app from Google Play.

I have done this, but it still crashes as soon as I open it. The version it shows is 2.2.1.2a and when I go into My Apps there are no updates for it.

whats the build number of your app?

The build number is r2.2.1.2a. I know that's the build number of the current stable (Play Store) release so I think my beta opt-in may not have gone through yet.
