Problems with the beta
Is the ? page supposed to say the current beta update number? because mine still says 2.2.1.2a build 54 even though theres been a couple of updates and the number hasnt changed. Im aware that the official version is up to 2.2.1.3a or something too...so im confused

Re: Problems with the beta
I uploaded build 53 about 5 days ago, and build 54 just today. Those were the only updates lately, but i am going to upload build 55 in a few minutes.
The official version is still 2.2.1.2a, the only really interesting number in the betas is the build number.
The only place where you can see 2.2.1.3a is in the changelog, because i am not going to make an entry for each in-between build, but just accumulate them for the next real version update.
The changelog also doesn't contain all the changes of each beta, just noteworthy stuff that can be tested.

Re: Problems with the beta
Any changes from the previous builds? The recent beta update fixed geometry corruption issues with American Girl games, but it broke compatibility with Pokemon Soul Silver and a few others.
Re: Problems with the beta
You can test it, that's what the beta is for ;p
Both games should work fine. Build 55 just fixed something for X86 devices.

Noted, though the last time I tested Soul Silver with build 53 I get the black screen freeze as described in this bug report for Desmume:Lordus wrote:You can test it, that's what the beta is for ;p

Re: Problems with the beta
I'm not sure, but from what I heard over at Desmume certain other Pokemon games are affected, but then again I'm not that up to testing them all.Exophase wrote:What are the few others?huckleberrypie wrote:but it broke compatibility with Pokemon Soul Silver and a few others.
