Was there a beta update?

Got an update this morning. In app its still r2.2.0.2 build 53 but says r2.2.0.3 on the in-app changelog. But literally nothing has changed. Was it a real update?

For one thing, it fixed the flickering polygons issue with both two American Girl games. I'm not sure about the rest.
