Another thing that could be helpful is to try using this NDS homebrew:

And let me know what the volume is like on the playback, along with whether or not it sounds cut off or distorted.

Yeah, had this problem too, and the cheat doesn't work. Go play pokemon black or something and wait for the next update(and hope that it's fixed).

I have in game saves for pokemon black, and I want to flash another ROM, so I'm backing up now. Would a titanium backup do? I'm not talking about save states, I mean an actual save from the game menu. Respond ASAP please!
