Why don't the developers of DraStic partner with the MelonDS team to bring multiplayer to DraStic?

It's pretty obvious as Drastic is still closed. It might be possible when the licensing issues are lifted

In Diamon and Pearl you open the game menu by pressing X. This looks like the box you bought has been badly configured for Drastic by the manufacturer

With Drastic alone you can't do it.

Save normally in-game and reset. Don't rely on savestates only

It used to require internet on first boot to check for your license, but I think this got changed. You can still use it without internet, just make sure before your flight you open the app at least once after installing it
