Heavy games like Mario Kart DS works in full speed without frameskip. Very nice tablet for DRASTIC DS

I've noticed certain speedup when playing without bios on the new version of Drastic. Maybe if there is newer bios games should run better? What do you think and can you please share which bios are you using.

You can't overclock even if you want to. I've installed cm10 now and there is definetly improvement in speed. So only hope to run this emulator with average speed is to install cm10.

Which rom are you using? And does checking multithread gave you any performance boost?

I've tried multithread, play with frameskip, sound latency and games are best with auto frameskip set on -4, sound latency high, multithreaded and no filter. But all 3d games don't run smoothly even Pokemon Diamond is glitchy sometimes. When I play without frame skip gameplay seems a smoother but ...

Tried seeder and it doesn't make much of a difference. I mean it is a dualcore phone, and it should be faster than xperia play and the only thing that comes to my mind is that xperia play has faster processor altough it's single core.

I have Galaxy ace 2, NovaThor u8500 dualcore Cortex-A9 chipset and it bugs me why I can't play games smoothly like New Super Mario or Mario Kart DS when single core devices can play it without trouble like Xperia Play. Is it because my device is clocked at 800 mhz or what?
