Just save your game in-game. Using the actual save button is so much more convenient than savestates for me. Anyways, after that, instead of hitting continue, hit start new game, then no, and simply load up your save.

Just a heads up, the code titled "Quick hatch" now works... no idea why, but not complaining.

Hmm thats odd. I guess i could try it out myself and see where its going wrong (these codes are basically all from pokemon heart gold, just the ROM header had to be changed to work with sacred gold)

A youtuber I follow said that they don't work on occasion, but I've tried them on around 30 eggs ...
