Will the LG Optimus G or The Nexus 4 run DraStic at a stable 2x speed? (Pokemon games)
Both phones have these specs;
Cpu: 1.5ghz Quadcore
Gpu: Adreno 320
Ram: 2GB

I think it would be fine. Although i dont get the reason on playing games at twice the norm unless youre in a hurry.

A couple years ago i had a Motorola Defy and i played (gba) Pokemon in 2x speed for about half a year. Now i can't stand playing it in normal speed, should have never done it but anyway

2x speed is kind of a tall order, you might not be able to sustain that even with a lot of auto-FS.

It depends on the game being emulated (i guess in your case its pokemon games).
for example on mine with auto FS set at 2, linear filtering, sound enabled i get between 190% and 220% speed. And my processor is only clocked slightly higher than what you're wanting to run it on.
