Is it possible to change DraStic save's location ?

Hi, recently I had to wipe my phone entirely. I made a backup of all my apps with Titanium Backup so I could restore them... But then I discovered that the DraStic folder on the SD card is not linked to the emulator (TB tells me there are no external data). So, yeah, I lost everything.

To avoid that in the future, I'd like to use /data/data/com.dsemu.drastic or /sdcard/Android/data/com.dsemu.drastic instead of the DraStic folder.

Is it possible ? Will it be possible in a future update ?

Incidentally we don't use those locations because whenever someone uninstalls DraStic, those folders get deleted and they lose everything. The /data folder is especially bad since it's somewhat inaccessible without root.

I understand the disadvantages of these paths, but why don't make that a choice in the settings ?

You kinda can achieve this by using the users function in Drastic. In Drastic you can create multiple users and you can assign a custom paths to them.
I just did some tests about this (version r2.5.1.3 build 99).

- Create a folder in Internal Storage/Android/data/ named com.dsemu.drastic
- Open Drastic and create a new user (the head icon at the top right will open a window that lets you do that)
- When asked if you want a custom path, say yes
- Find Internal Storage/Android/data/com.dsemu.drastic/ and select that folder
- You will go back to the main menu. If on the bottom left of the main menu you will not see "User: YOURNAME" go back to the head icon and select YOURNAME

com.dsemu.drastic will contain a folder called Drastic_YOURNAME that contains all game data and settings.

When you have to load a backup you will have to recreate the user and it must be the exact same name as before
