I understand that in normal ds the time ingame is matched to the time of the ds console.
but apparently it is not the same in the emulator.
the time is not passing at all until I am loading a save and playing.
so basically if I need a night time in the game and the current time is 08:00, I need to play 12 hours straight in order to reach to night.
is there any way around this? an option to make the time pass without making the game freaks out?(I heard its happens when you mess with the time the wrong way).
I tried changing the phone time but as I thought it didn't worked.
any suggestions?
pokemon game heartgold time doesn't pass.
Re: pokemon game heartgold time doesn't pass.
Under the options menu there is a system sub menu and in there is
Use system time as RTC (real time clock) this would link your devices system time to the time in the emulated game. You could also set a custom time too in the options. (Warning some games Pokemon being one of them, are very particular about temporal shenanigans and if you jump around tomes in ways that the game is not programed to deal with.... things break, badly.)

I tried doing but it didn't worked.
the clock ingame was 8:03, I went to settings and did what you said. the clock stayed the same so I did a reset to the game. then I closed the emulator and waited for 10 mins and opened it again, loaded my save (not savestate) and the time was still 8:03.
EDIT: I apparently can't change the time at all. I tried even a custom time but whenever I loading my save the time is still the same as the time I was saving the game before.
