supporting different formats of roms and cheats

Post by rafdum » Thu Jul 14, 2016 3:17 am

I am confused about which format of roms are actually supported by drastic. Recently i have downloaded a pokemon game ( pokemon blaze black 2) and it is in the for,at of .7z .....i have opened it with drastic and it works fine.
As we know that there are cheats available for pokemon games, i went to the cheats option, and the page was blank with no cheats.

besides that issue,i would also like to know which format of roms does drastic support. i have tried many different formats and none of them worked, probably because they were fake (yes i know they were fake)
now i want to download another pokemon game (pokemon black 2) and it is not in the format like the previous one.,..it is in the format of .nds
my question is,is this format also supported
tnx if u help

certain forms of file compression are supported (may introduce performance issues though in some circumstances)

Inside that 7zip (.7z) container is a .nds rom file and possibly other files. I am not sure al of the compression fomats that are compatible bit zip and 7zip both are.

As fpr the cheats the deafault cheat database only has codes for actual Nintendo DS cartridge games.
Volt White and Blaze Black are what are colled rom hacks and the codes made for the original version would probably not work correctly. You can always use the custom cheat database feature to add your own codes though.
