Multiple problems - RK3368, 64bit

For something like a year I've been using Drastic (paid...) on an old MK808 Android stick with a RK3066 CPU, running Android 4.4.2. I basically play three games (Izuna, Rune Factory, and Pokemon Heartgold) and all worked fine, albeit with some frameskip.
Last week I got a new Geekbox, a 64bit RK3368-based Android 5.1 TV box, to replace the old MK808 with. I read about how to transfer saves between devices, figured I was good to go. Got the Geekbox, updated everything, installed Drastic, copied the ROMs and save files over, and...
Izuna and Rune Factory run, apparently just fine, albeit with controller problems.
Heartgold won't run from the .gz file at all - Drastic loads it, then dumps straight back to the main Drastic menu without any sort of error or anything at all. If I un-gzip the ROM, Drastic will load it, but even on the most basic of settings - no filter, no high-def 3D, no multi-threaded renderer, etc - all it does is display two blank white screens, with the Drastic UI overlay.
I've re-copied the ROM, re-downloaded the ROM... nothing works.
And for inexplicable reasons, on the Geekbox, the exact same USB controller I've been using forever on the old MK808 doesn't work - the X and Y buttons aren't recognized at all. Like, I can't even map a new controller layout, because Drastic doesn't recognize the X or Y buttons being pressed.
Any suggestions on what to try next?
