Im new to the forums but i recently figured out by watching youtube that i can bluetooth ,y ps4 controller to my android, i followed the steps through and opened up drastic and set up the inputs. I start playing pokemon black and at least 10 seconds in the game my inputs starts having heavy delaying. Afterwards i turn off my Bluetooth then turn it back on, then turned the controller back on. I resume playing and the control responses are on point then 15 seconds later it starts delaying my inputs. Im guessing it's the controller cause i tried to play and app game and it does the same thing, or maybe its my phone..idk but i want to see if anybody tried the same method for thier ps4 controller and had any success with it on thier phones.

Sony does not use exactly standard bluetooth protocols with both the DS3 and DS4 controllers, and mobile chipsets are not the greatest at handling unexpected signals.

Basically using either sony controller on an android phone or tablet kinda comes down to bluetooth chipset lottery. If your lucky your device will accept it and work fine if not well I am sorry but odds are there may not be much you can do to fix it. But, before you give up hope try the XDA forum for your specific device, possibly someone there has come up a fix for your specific device. Though my honest recomendation is to get a generic hid (human interface device) bluetooth controller and use that instead.

That kinda sucks, but i fully understand what your saying...was kinda hoping that wasn't the case thou since i dropped my phone and half the screen is unresponsive wich is why i tried the ps4 controller method in the first place. Lol guess i'll buy a more compatible controller for that. But thanks for the help

I can tell you some bluetooth controller suggestions if you want though they cost you about $70 I have a bluetooth controller and it only cost me $20 called Terios T3 it's a "cheap chinese thing" by kaikun97 LOL. but it works great with drastic no input lag and it works with dead trigger 2 in the google play store. BTW I have 3 bluetooth controllers and I only use 1 I was planning to give one to Juan Vargas my favorite friend on this forum for free but we both have to pay for shipping and I don't know as I've never sold anything online.

Download "Bluetooth Auto Connect" and use it after you sync. For more instructions search "app name + controller".

The best hypothesis I heard is that somehow this connection enters on some hibernation mode, and inputs won't revert it like a keyboard. Did that and played with minimal lag.

I think there is a misunderstanding, NO kai-chan you don't make cheap Chinese electronics but I recall you saying "cheap Chinese thing" somewhere in a thread.

I own products from China so makes me feel like a cheap skate.

So that's why I quote "cheap Chinese thing" by kaikun97 because you said it and it sounds funny to quote it lols..

Hope that clears the misunderstanding kai-chan.
