Since we have High res 3d rendering available would it be possible to add HD quality sound? Like for example improved sound effects? No? if the devs say no then no.

Drastic with earphones on is amazing.

If it's not possible then don't worry.

Drastic could have improved textured scaling so the jaggered lines disappear.

First off please keep picture and meme bombing to off topic.........

HD sound would be an issue since increasing the sample rate of audio does not help lower sample audio.... so without patching in new soundtracks to NDS roms your not gonna get HD audio. Even directional or 3d or multi channel would be very difficult to pointless without patching roms with new audio files

As far as graphics there is already a thread on texture filtering.... but tl;dr version is that without changing the rendering engine to opengl (which exo might do one day) it is not happening. The jagged lines can be fixed to some extent with both/either high res and some of the shaders from the shaders thread in the shaders.zip file.
