Fast Forward is choppy/laggy in SoulSilver

So I have the paid version of DraStic. Problem is the Fast Forward is lagging. Normal the fps counter is 100%/100% but when I use the Fast Forward it goes 153%/25% or something like that. Any ideas? My CPU is SnapDragon 808 and a good gpu (Adreno 418) with 3 GB ram.

Fast Forward is like that. It skips a lot of frames in order to increase speed. Once Fast Forward is off, the game should return to normal.

Fast Forward is like that. It skips a lot of frames in order to increase speed. Once Fast Forward is off, the game should return to normal.
It also raises the FPS cap, you can have it from 50% to 400% or just remove the cap entirely which then runs the game as fast as it can. And of course fast forward will look laggy, ericbazinga is right it does skip frames and any lag or weird audio you get is a side effect of the game running faster than its designed to, in fact a lot of games can have issues with corrupted graphics of bugged loading when running in fast forward mode.
